Bionic Heart Complete!
Bionic Heart is complete and released! Check it out! It's sci-fi goodness. I did work on the endings and a bit of voice work for the character Julia Storm. Sadly, my writing and vocals don't show up in the demo version. I guess you'll just have to buy it if you want to see what I've been up to. Or you could watch the video. But that's less fun. XD

Good End(s)!
Well, I finished up proofing/editing/etc. the last few endings for Bionic Heart today. Some of them are very interesting, and I think it'll be a real challenge to find them. That means that the writing for the game is complete. Yaaay! The voice cast is working hard on their roles, so once they're done, Bionic Heart shall be released. Check out the video for a sneak peek.
Of course, this also means that I'll be able to focus a lot more time into Idem et Idem, which really makes me happy. I'm quite excited with where the story is going, and I'm disappointed that I haven't been able to put as much work into it as I wanted to due to work, cons, the computer crash, etc. But Idem, here I come! :D

Nearing Completion
Ugh. Way too much going on right now. But I whined about that yesterday.
I am very close to finishing the writing for Bionic Heart. I finished up another set of endings today, so that leaves the last one. And then done! Yaaay!

Nearing the End
Worked on the final ending of Bionic Heart today. Things are wrapping up pretty nicely, so in theory I'll be done tomorrow. Here's hoping.

Finished the penultimate chapter of Bionic Heart today. One more to go. I'll be gone all weekend at an anime convention. ::sigh:: I didn't get nearly as much work done this week as I meant to. Blrr...

Bionic Heart Beta PR

SCI-FI VISUAL NOVEL “BIONIC HEART” ENTERS CLOSED BETA STAGE
Tycoon Games, developers of several award-winning dating sim and visual novels, has announced that its upcoming title “Bionic Heart” has now entered closed beta stage.
“With Bionic Heart I wanted to create a product for young adults that would immerse them in the world of classic science fiction. The game is much like a sci-fi comic book, with a fun story and plenty of drama, not unlike real-life events.”
—Riva Celso, programmer/designer of Tycoon Games
The game takes place in London in the year 2099 in a world where Earth's climate is so ravaged by pollution and global warming that most of the world is covered in an unending rain. You take the role of Luke Black, an informatic engineeer working for Nanotech, one of the leading nanotechnology companies of the day.The game follows the classic gameplay of visual novels, allowing the player to make choices that will determine Luke's fate. It also includes interactive sequences in which the player will be able to freely move through several locations and interact with the environment, object, and people around him. With twenty-four unique endings, some more difficult to unlock than others, the game has a high replay value. The game is currently in early beta testing and should be available this summer 2009 on the company's website at http://www.tycoongames.eu for PCs, Macs, and Linux platforms with very low hardware requirements.

Pre Tri-Day Festivities
I'm really hoping to get a lot more done this weekend. This week has been terrible in terms of getting any writing done. =_=
Finished up a couple more endings for Bionic Heart. It's looking more and more interesting by the minute - the release is sometime this summer, so please look forward to it.
Started on chapter 10 of Idem.
Statistics:
The game contains 849 screens of dialogue.
These screens contain a total of 8688 words,
for an average of 10.2 words per screen.
The game contains 0 menus.
HA. Hardly an advancement...
And added a little bit to hanami x 2.
Statistics:
The game contains 258 screens of dialogue.
These screens contain a total of 2570 words,
for an average of 10.0 words per screen.
The game contains 4 menus.
Enthralling, I'm sure.

Missed a day. orz
Sorry for the lack of update yesterday. I didn't actually get much writing done. =_= I spent the entire morning baking cookies and making some cheesecakes, and then the entire afternoon was spent at my other job. Then there was dinner and taking care of bills and other important things. Point being...not much time to work on writing. But that shall be fixed today!
I started on the next set of endings for Bionic Heart. I think I'm getting more accustomed to the characters now, so writing is getting easier. Speaking of Bionic Heart, if you are of the male persuasion and you have a decent mic and a love for voice acting (and making money while doing so), why not try your hand at auditioning for it? I don't know about the rest of the story, but I can guarantee the endings are SUPER WELL WRITTEN. >____> ::subtle::

Tri-day
Worked on three projects today. Because Friday is Tri-day. Yes, I'm very clever.
Bionic Heart:
Finished up editing a couple endings for Bionic Heart. Most of them required only minor touch-ups, but I gave one of them quite a makeover.
Idem et Idem:
Started chapter 09 of Idem. It didn't move as quickly as I wanted to because I wound up spending a lot of time researching psychology. Blrr. This project is really stretching my knowledge. XD But man, it's so much fun. I'm pretty happy with where it's going, and I hope that people who play it will be drawn in.
Statistics:
The game contains 779 screens of dialogue.
These screens contain a total of 7990 words,
for an average of 10.3 words per screen.
The game contains 0 menus.
hanami x 2:
Wrote a liiiittle bit more for hx2. I want to put more time into it, but it's not a priority right now, and the artist is still in the sketching and design stage, so there's no huge rush to get the writing done and polished right now.
Statistics:
The game contains 244 screens of dialogue.
These screens contain a total of 2392 words,
for an average of 9.8 words per screen.
The game contains 4 menus.

Humans Cannot be Trusted
My post titles are seemingly unrelated to what I write, but truthfully it's basically a snippet of whatever I've been writing for the day.
I finished up the section of Bionic Heart that I was working on. In total, I wrote a thousand or more words - so not a huge endeavor, but it was only a very small sliver of the entire game.

orz
::sigh:: I hardly got any work done today. I'm such a bad bento. I edited about one fourth of the scene from Bionic Heart. The idea is to finish it tomorrow along with chapter seven of Idem. Buu...

Bionic and Other Things
I'm so close to finishing chapter six of Idem et Idem, but these last few hundred words are killing me. The main character's actions are little...unusual for him, so I'm having trouble resolving what he's doing. Blrr.
Statistics:
The game contains 502 screens of dialogue.
These screens contain a total of 5120 words,
for an average of 10.2 words per screen.
The game contains 0 menus.
Also, it looks like I'll be doing some work on Bionic Heart for Tycoon Games. Not so much writing as much as "enhancing" the story that's already been written. Fun stuff.
