Asami

Meet Asami, the heroine of our otome/mystery game, Oneiro. As you can see from the image, she's a pretty fit girl. She practices judo because it helps her focus her thoughts. She's the sort of girl who likes to think a lot, and sometimes she winds up over thinking things rather than taking action. Having worked at her parents' sushi restaurant for as long as she can remember, she's very mature and responsible. Her most hated chore is washing dishes, probably because it's the one she has to do the most.

Out of Date

Lots of work done today for various games, but none of it was writing. So have some outdated character designs instead.

Playing Catch-up

My recent illness has set my schedule back a few days. Not a good thing. Not a good thing at all. Have a completely unrelated image as compensation. I'm very close to finishing the next episode of Idem. That will definitely be done tomorrow.

Statistics:
The game contains 1230 screens of dialogue.
These screens contain a total of 12637 words,
for an average of 10.3 words per screen.
The game contains 0 menus.

Everything else has been pushed back a little bit, but it should all come together within the week. Provided I don't get sick again. @_@

New Tablet

Well, I got a new tablet, so I decided to give it a whirl on a sketch of Maya by strawberrybocky. Plat du Jour has been on the back burner for awhile, and truthfully, it'll probably be that way for awhile. I have more important things to work on (like Idem et Idem, and I will definitely finish another chapter tomorrow) and Cuter than Fiction (which will be completed in its entirety tomorrow). The other thing is that Plat du Jour is going to be undergoing some pretty heavy upgrades in terms of art, writing, and plot. I can hear a collective groan from the masses now as they realize that this means I'm practically starting over. I hate it as much as you do, but to be honest, my current incarnation is incredibly weak. I lost focus of my main goal, and I want it back. So I'm going to write up a much tighter outline this time around and make it a good story worth playing. And if the current sketch is any indication of the improvement over the old version, I think this is revamp is worth it.
