Chapter 15 of Idem finished today. That means the fifth episode is done. This episode has been, by far, the hardest for me. The first episodes were mostly mystery upon mystery leading up to this, and now a lot of things are explained and stuff is starting to come together. This is the point where the reader/player decides whether or not the explanation is satisfying or not, so I'm really quite nervous about it. The big mystery reveal needs to make sense, but at the same time it can't be so obvious that people can guess it too early. I hope it's not a disappointment to those who read it. Yeah...this really makes me nervous. Episode 05 is basically the make or break point. People will either become very eager to find out what happens next or give up on the entire thing right here and now. ::crosses fingers:: Please let it be the first option.
