It's that time of the week again, friends! Time for a wordcount~
Card Sweethearts Finished Lisa's arc. My favorite scene is in this one. It's actually based on a restaurant I read about in New York, but that's all I'll say on that matter. There's only one arc (and the endings) left to go, so yay! Current word count: 26,336 words
Happy Memories Wrote all the intro scenes for meeting your friends at school. The variety is really interesting. For the record, if I had to pick a guy, I'd go for Taro. Current word count: 3,151 words
There's other stuff going on in the background (see above image for hint), but I'll save that for later. XD
I made a new logo. I'm actually going to KEEP this one instead of make a new one every two days.
Anyway. Time for an update. Now with word counts!
RE: Alistair++ Finished writing for the extended edition. Some new scenes, some updated scenes, hopefully fewer bugs and typos... Final word count: 23,254
Card Sweethearts Finished Carla's arc, and getting close to being done with Lisa's. Hers is fairly linear, so it's a little easier to finish. It's a lot of fun, though. After that, one more arc to go and yay! Current word count: 24,344
Happy Memories Wrote a few more meeting/intro scenes with some of the characters. This game is pretty varied in terms of how things change based on your actions. There are many different ways to meet the same character, so each time you play, things are really different. Current word count: 1,970
Ripples Remix Finished recording for Kuu and had someone in (ha, if you know me, you know who I brought in), to record for Koda. All the vocals and music are now in place. Woo! Final word count: 1,947
The cute RPG, ButaVX: Justice Fighter has just been released by Nekomura Games. This is an adorable and whimsical little game that really lets you see the world through the eyes of a child. Everything is an adventure, and anyone can be a hero. Sadly, it's only for PC. But it's free! And free is good.
Hey guys, if you haven't had a chance to play yet, you might want to take advantage of this. The Stolen Diamond Ring is now only $6, which is a very super reasonable price for a game, ne?
Did some editing for a super cute RPG called ButaVX. It's short and sweet, but a whole lot of fun, reminiscent of the days of the original GameBoy. Should be out fairly soon, too.
The Stolen Diamond Ring has been released! Good times, good times. I had a lot of fun on this project, and it's definitely a fun mystery. If you're into that sort of thing, be sure to check it out.
I keep forgetting to update, but I really am doing work...D:
Edited chapter 05 of The Stolen Diamond Ring, as well as found a couple things I missed in the first few chapters. Second revision, yay!
I also revived hanami x 2. Lack of an artist made this little project flounder, but I have found a new one and I am excited to be doing this again. I spent a lot of time customizing the interface and the layout of the game. It's really nice to be working on this again. I think it's ironic that I haven't done a game for girls yet, especially as they seem to be gaining a good amount of popularity these days. But once this is done, I will finally have released an otome game. Wooo~
Not too much writing today. Just lots of editing and refining. First, chapters 03 and 04 of The Stolen Diamond ring have been edited. And second, I went through the first two chapters of The Flower Shop and touched up things like character expressions and fixed a few typos here and there. Mmm...editing. Delicious.
Finished editing the first chapter of "The Stolen Diamond Ring" today. It's pretty fast-paced, but definitely interesting. It allows a lot more freedom than a traditional VN with some exploration as well as standard interaction. Definitely looks like it'll be fun.
New project! Although I won't be writing for this one. I'm going to be editor/proofreader for Nekomura Games' first commercial project, "The Stolen Diamond Ring." Mystery visual novels are pretty rare, but this one looks like it's going to be very good.
